The 5000-00 is a perfect option to replace and upgrade the nut in a lot of Fender-style electric guitars.

It will work in both a flat bottom or curved bottom nut slot due to its ingenious design, just sand off the tab for a curved bottom.

As a general rule of thumb... (it's never 100%, there are always exceptions, but...)

• If the Fender spec sheet says “Modern C” neck and doesn’t call it “vintage”, assume 9.5" radius.

• If it’s marketed as “Vintera, American Vintage, Road Worn, ’50s/’60s correct”, expect 7.25" unless they explicitly say otherwise. (our 5072-00 model  has a 7.25" radius)

• American Standard / American Series / American Special / American Performer / American Pro (I & II) / Player / Player II Strats & Teles are all 9.5".

It is pre-slotted to make for a quick and easy install.
